Full Story at www.hometownsportsnetwork.ca Two Norfolk Knights teams are one win away from the OMHA Championships and both have the chance to finish their series tonight in Port Dover. The U14A Knights (6:30 PM) lead their series 2 to 0 after beating Brant 1 to 0 in Paris. The team finished the regular season undefeated and is currently ranked #2 in Ontario. The U16A Knights (8:00 PM) also lead their series 2 to 0 after a strong 4 to 0 win in Tillsonburg Saturday night. Goals came from Skyler Evans, Brady Munich, Garrett Arther and Wyatt Brown, while Darren Maw recorded the shutout. Both teams are one win away from OMHA’s. Come out and support the Knights tonight in Port Dover.

SHOOTOUT DRAMA FOR THE KNIGHTS The Norfolk Knights U10A take Game 1 of the finals with a thrilling shootout win over the South Oxford Storm. James Clarke opened the scoring and then scored again in the shootout. Keegan Wentzel and Lane Smith also found the net in the shootout. Goaltender Desmond Silkiewycz was outstanding, making several huge saves all game and stopping the fifth and final shooter to secure the win. Game 2 returns to Port Dover on March 19 with a trip to the OMHA Championships on the line. Big playoff hockey continues.
